主讲内容：This presentation presents a comprehensive overview of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and the Institute of Sustainable Energy (ISE), a Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICoE) dedicated to advanced energy harvesting technologies and sustainable energy innovation. The discussion highlights major research programs at ISE, including advanced hybrid solar photovoltaic systems, low-speed wind turbine technologies, bioenergy and green hydrogen production, as well as smart energy systems, energy storage, and smart campus applications. These initiatives collectively contribute to accelerating decarbonization and enhancing energy security through integrated and multidisciplinary approaches.In parallel, the presentation outlines selected research contributions in advanced electronic materials, with a particular focus on polymer light-emitting devices (PLEDs). Emphasis is placed on understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing device efficiency and operational stability, including charge injection, transport dynamics, and material design strategies. Additional research areas, such as inorganic electronics, perovskite-based devices, and solid oxide fuel cells, are also briefly introduced to illustrate the breadth of ongoing work.By integrating institutional research strengths with specific case studies, this presentation demonstrates how cutting-edge research in energy harvesting and electronic materials can support the development of sustainable, efficient, and scalable energy technologies for future applications.
